This project revamped an existing workflow by incorporating insights from user interviews, aiming to elevate user experiences through a redesign and re-platforming effort. Using Figma, we updated dashboard and profile pages according to user feedback and existing processes, ensuring a seamless transition and improved usability.

Role : UX Designer

In collaboration with the product owner, my main responsibility was the re-platforming and redesign efforts for an existing Excel and Tableau workflow. This involved documenting and integrating insights from user interviews to incorporate in the uplifted designs. Additionally, I created the dashboard and profile pages, tailoring them based on user feedback and current processes. I also implemented change logs and communication methods to facilitate seamless interaction between multiple users, ensuring transparency and efficiency throughout the workflow enhancement process.

What was the purpose

The design work

Efficient Engagement Management

I transitioned complex processes previously managed in Excel spreadsheets into user-friendly forms, simplifying data entry and duplication for enhanced usability.

This enabled users to effortlessly edit or update engagements as needed. Subsequently, administrators users could absorb these changes into a centralised dashboard view, facilitating efficient monitoring and management of multiple engagements.

Optimised Profile

I undertook the task of creating a more efficient and comprehensive profile page, aiming to provide users with accurate and easily accessible information about an individuals. We designed a streamlined interface that presents all relevant data in a user-friendly format.

This new profile page allows users to quickly assess an individual's skills, qualifications, and experience, enabling them to make informed decisions about how to best utilise each person's time. This also allowed for users to pre-plan an engagement’s required staffing ahead of time.

Uplifted approval process

I addressed the need for certain users to review and approve changes. Prior to this, users often lacked visibility into the reasons behind changes and waste time seeking clarification from individual users. With the new system users can view changes alongside any related comments, providing valuable context and facilitating informed decision-making.
